Have you been moonstruck by the SUPER MOON in July? If not, here comes the super beauty again.  Get ready to align your life with what bothers you and  be ready to talk to your MOTHER of Moons soon: SUPER MOON on August 10th, 2014 phase for  (18:23 UTC.) Guess what? This month’s full moon is this year’s “super moon” — it is ultimately the largest moon we will have for 2014. This is because on Aug. 10, the moon will be nearest to the earth for the entire year…..In pre- phase, get us ready!

The full moon phase has always been associated with GREAT FISHING TRIPS because it is quite easy to catch fish when the night sky is moonlit.  Knowing that we will have a super moon on Aug. 10, fishing will be fun and rewarding. Aside from the Perseids meteor shower, the new moon and the full moon, one should be on the look out for the Conjunction of Venus and Jupiter which will occur on Aug. 18.   The 29th is a great date to watch Neptune grace the sky.

Memo to myself:…..change your shift (for all costs), get your beach outfit, grab your moon ritual bag and meet your husband at the beach gate…THEN, be ready for MAGIC.

How to get ready for SOUL HARMONY ON DEMAND Full Moon Release Ritual?

No matter where you will be, in Africa, Europe or India… or in my neighborhood – Vancouver Island, BC, Mother Moon will connect our lives so each of us, together or individually will use this magical healing power for our own good and highest good of all.

 Full Moon Release Ritual

  • Items you’ll need:
    Floating candles
    A large bowl
    A pen

Create a sacred space with candles, sage smudging, and set up altars with powerful totems. For some rituals, I use an owl’s wing that a friend gave me, to represent wisdom.

If possible, stand or sit under the Moon. Allow yourself to feel a direct relationship to it, as a mover of the living waters of the Earth and within our own bodies.

Do grounding exercise, to bring you out of the chatter of small talk and into ritual space. Feel the earth under your feet and shake out the tension in the body.

Place the large water-filled bowl in front of you, or in the middle of your gathering on a table/ ground.

If there is a group of you, each person writes what they’re releasing on the floating candle. It’s not important that it shows up, just that the intention is there.

As you place the candle into the bowl, declare what you’re releasing.

Light the candle.

Allow yourself to feel the transfer of what you’re releasing to the candle. As a group focus on letting go into the water, holding hands if that feels right.

Celebrate this release by sharing a feast under the full moon!

Allow the candle to keep burning in the bowl as a symbol of the letting go process. The flame is a purifier, and symbolizes the sparks of inspiration as well. If you blow out your floating candle, and your bowl is in your home, relighting it will remind you of your commitment. Place inspiring pictures and totems around it that remind you of who you are becoming.

Above all, give yourself credit for following your instinct by doing the act of healing.

May all odds be ever in your favor on your path to MOTHER  MOON,

Veronika Prielozna, MA one of you – Moon Lovers!
